When a global streaming service needed to outfit their headquarters, they turned to HPL to produce high-performance design-forward furniture. For their two-building central office, we manufactured over a hundred AV-and-power-enabled meeting tables, dozens of credenzas in five styles, and a completely custom reception desk.
When our client discovered HPL’s capacity for manufacturing at scale and customization, they consolidated a range of furniture needs with us, from standard conference tables to bespoke items. Integrating a residential-meets-rustic design vision inspired by the headquarter’s surrounding Redwoods, we created all our pieces in different rich wood finishes.
This project demonstrates our ability to work with our partners to solve functional needs with flexible options that support each project’s design vision.
Kicking off a partnership with adaptive conference tables
HPL’s collaboration with this international streaming-service kicked off in 2016 with an office staple: the conference table. To meet their intensive power and AV needs, we delivered a streamlined design that tucks electrical components into tabletops. Then we standardized the product to produce it at scale for offices across North America.
This table’s custom system is one we designed and refined over years, specifically for this client. Our successful development of a flexible conference table paved the way for customizing other furniture for our client’s new headquarters.
In-house finishes for durability and flexible looks
A conference table is the essential workhorse of the office, and for that reason we make sure that they’re durable. We use UV-cured finishes because they’re resistant to wear and stains, securing the product’s look and longevity.
As the only West Coast manufacturer that does UV-cured finishing in-house, we ensure faster turnaround times, lower costs, and consistent quality across every job.
We offer finishes in a wide variety of styles, ensuring our tables fit seamlessly into each project’s individual aesthetic. To match this client’s Redwood-inspired design vision, we dressed their conference tables in a knotty wood-grain veneer.

Integrating AV and power into a streamlined design
We knew a conference table for our streaming service client needed to fuel media-viewing on all kinds of screens. So, we developed a conference table with built-in electrical capacity for powering laptops, phones, and AV.
Tucked into the tabletop, a deep, easy-access compartment holds power outlets, charging ports, and AV jacks. The streamlined design features custom soft-close finger-pull doors that lie flush with the tabletop; a narrow gap encircling the doors allows cords to be snaked out to power devices.
With this clean design, there’s plenty of room for laptops, even during AV presentations. Built to keep pace with technology needs, our conference table ensures meetings are powered up.
Offering scale and customization under one roof
HPL’s capacity for customization and high-volume production allows us to solve a range of furniture needs. With both customs and standards offered under one roof, we save our clients from needing to add even more suppliers to each project.
The full extent of our capacity caught the attention of this streaming-service client. Tapped to develop a standard conference table, we were soon called on to craft more custom items, from credenzas to a custom reception desk.

To support informal meetings and collaborations, we built dozens of tables for smaller gatherings. This height-adjustable D-top is adaptable for short stand-up huddles or longer sit-down meetings. Featuring UV-cured finishes and AV integration, this ultra-functional table is so handy, it’s now installed at our client’s locations across North America.
For our client’s high-visibility reception station, we produced a custom one-of-a-kind desk. With rich Clara Walnut veneer, this striking piece resonates with the project’s upscale Redwood-inspired aesthetic. We mitered corners and aligned wood grain across the desk for a sleek wraparound look. This desk shows our skill with high-touch customs that fit right in with our standard products.
Our credenzas are multitaskers in both looks and function. Available in five styles, some provide storage, while others incorporate planters or trash receptacles. Installable as spatial dividers, they also help shape open layouts. Boasting the variety usually reserved for special items, our credenzas come without boutique price tags.
To outfit media viewing rooms, we created custom U-shaped tables that offer optimal sightlines. Like our other tables, these feature stain-resistant UV-cured finishes, and power, AV, and data integration. Combining customization with a product family’s standard attributes makes this piece both hyper-specific and functionally integrated with other tables in the project.
